This first intervention, inspired by a photograph by Agustí Centelles, was born from a design made in a disinterested way to collaborate with the initiative “XVI Marxa d’homenatge als Maquis” (XVI March of homage to the maquis), an act of memory organized by the collective “A les trinxeres” (Towards the trenches). The design, made to make t-shirts of the event, was thought with the intention of transferring it to a wall. The Kasa de Muntanya, the iconic occupied house in the Vallcarca neighbourhood of Barcelona, offered the walls and means to carry out the mural in the inner courtyard of the enclosure. As the technique used for this were templates, it offered the possibility to replicate the same design in several places . Although the templates had to be used in this space, they were released before in the Clot neighbourhood, as explained in this post.
